Remember how I struggled to show up for my visa interview last Monday? I couldn't go by myself, so I was lucky that Roan's uncle offered to drive me to and from the US Embassy on the day of my interview. As it turns out, the 3-hour waiting time was worth it. If you've been following me on Instagram, then you've probably seen the latest about our visa journey. In case you haven't, well, I have finally been issued a US immigrant visa! I know I couldn't contain the news in any way, so I might as well share about it here on the blog, too!

This week, I'm grateful for a lot of things, but most especially to God for granting our prayers. We've waited a little over a year for this, which also means Roan and I sacrificed being apart for that long since we got married. We would also like to extend our gratitude to our family and friends who prayed for us and along with us throughout this whole gruelling process. The support and encouragement we receive from them are golden!
