Wind Down with Pique Tea

Pique Tea Product Review | SCATTERBRAIN

Is it ridiculous to wish for another vacation after returning from a vacation? I mean, Roan and I have been hustling and bustling at work and at home, though a little more than a month has passed since we got back from Washington. Things got even worse when I fell ill just two weeks ago that I was absolutely useless for five whole days.

It was also around the same time when I decided I'd quit coffee. I had a regular iced coffee with no cream whatsoever that morning since the local Starbucks near our place didn't have my go-to drink at the time. Well, what do you know, my headache progressed to a massive migraine attack that my husband decided to take me home immediately. That's it—I'm done with coffee. Today, all I've been drinking are water and different kinds of tea I could get my hands on.

In an effort to get more rest for continued recovery, I tried to shut my mind off of work stuff as soon as I step out of the office. I started reading again, and it's mostly what I've been looking forward to at the end of the day. For some some strange, albeit timely, reason, Simon Cheng (Founder and CEO) of Pique Tea reached out and sent me four tea flavors just when I decided to wean off of coffee. If that isn't a universal conspiracy, I don't know what is. However, let's cut through the chase—Pique Tea is something, and I mean that in a good way.

Pique Tea is a based in San Francisco, California. Unlike most conventional teas, Pique Tea is made of pure tea crystals—organic, loose leaves brewed and distilled for an exceptional cup of tea. Not only are they innovative, they're also convenient. See, I'm not going to pretend to be a tea connoisseur, but Pique Tea tastes better, if not [yet] the best out there. I wouldn't be surprised if this company flourished in the next few years. Among the four flavors I've tried—Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Jasmine, and Mint Sencha Green Tea—the first one has got to be my favorite. I find that it tastes better with a splash of milk, too, but to each his own.
