Did you notice anything? This is becoming sort of a monthly thing, isn't it? I swear it's not intentional, but I couldn't pass the opportunity to update you on my life here in the US (regardless if you're interested or not). As promised in my previous post from the same series, I'll rearrange the photos as they were posted, and not as they appeared in my Instagram profile so that they make more sense.
Anyway, let's get to it!
one. Roan and I slept on the floor the night before we moved out of his cousin's house because we had already loaded the bed into the U-Haul van earlier on for the next morning's move. | two. I took a photo of my bare feet to support TOMS campaign, which is to give a pair of shoes to a child in need for every photo posted on Instagram with the hashtag, #WithoutShoes. | three. About a month since I had my hair cut , I went for another spontaneous trip to the salon to get an even shorter haircut. I've been wanting to do it since God-knows-when, and I'm so happy I did because it's so edgy and funk. (P.S. My Mom hates it, though!)
four. I got my legal permanent resident card (green card) in the mail, and both Roan and I couldn't have been more relieved. It's been a pain to always bring my passport along with me to serve as my ID. If only I'd gotten my driver's license already... | five. This photo was taken at our day trip in Balboa Park a couple weeks ago, and it's probably one of my favorites. The tree's roots reminds me so much of something I couldn't quite put my finger on. | six. A photo at The Venetian Resort & Casino in Las Vegas when Roan and I went there for his cousins' wedding anniversary.
The clouds were totally fake as this was taken inside the building with closed roofs.seven. The highlight of our 24-hour stay in Vegas was probably watching the Rock of Ages at The Venetian Resort & Casino. Roan sang to most of the songs in this show, and I was impressed! | eight. A photo I took when we drove by Oceanside a couple of weeks ago. I badly wanted to go to the beach, but it was nearly impossible to do so since we've had chilly weather throughout the entire week. | nine. Taken at Seaport Village (with my photobomber husband) while waiting for Dad's arrival at the San Diego International Airport.
