I've been meaning to join Raisa and Eirene's My Favorite Things link-up for a while now, but only remember to do so when the posting window is over. Thanks to Tara, her entry reminded me to start working on mine! I'd be somewhat cheating because September has only started a few days ago, and I'm joining for the first time, so most of the things I'm going to talk about below are from last month or way before that.

  1. When I first learned about ban., I knew I had to get a few things from their shop. I told myself I'd buy one from their collection, but ended up more than I promised.
    This statement pencil pouch is too cute for words. Don't you agree? In it are gazillions of pens, pencils, and markers.
  2. As I've mentioned in my previous post, Roan bought me a new SUV last week. My car key is the newest addition to my current favorite keychain, which has a funny backstory. I saw this keychain while checking out at Old Navy, and laughed at how there's the letter 'A', but the charm added to it is an umbrella. 'A' is for am-bre-la? (Get it?) Others include our apartment key fob (that circular plastic red thing), mailbox key, a duplicate key of my cousin-in-law's house, and mini-rewards cards from CVS and IKEA.
  3. I haven't touched my mirrorless camera in a while because of my recent dental surgery, but I've used it on our most recent road trips, which I'm going to write about in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
  4. This 17-month (Aug 2015 to Dec 2016) agenda is too gorgeous to pass up! I mean, look at that gold foil cover! It's been promoted as my primary planner, though I still use my Daykeeper Datebook as additional reminder/back-up.
  5. I currently have four pairs of eyeglasses, and these Ray-Bans are my favorite because it's the only pair that has my present eye-grade. I'm keeping my not-so-old ones until I find the opportunity to have their lenses updated to match my current eye-grade, so I can wear them on rotation.
  6. I have had three pairs of Converse All-Star Chucks in my lifetime, and my white low-tops are my absolute favorite at the moment. I used to have a black high-top and an olive green low-top, both of which I gave away before I left for the US. The white ones (like any other white shoes) are high maintenance, though, so I always wipe them clean after every use.

{ OTHER FAVORITE THINGS NOT IN THE PHOTO }

Narcos. I mentioned the other day that Roan has decided to unsubscribe from our cable TV provider altogether because we seldom watch local TV, anyway. If we do, it's always on the news channel, sports channel, or on The Filipino Channel (TFC). The rest of the time, we're just browsing through Netflix on what's new or at least interesting. We started watching the first few episodes, and boy, have we gotten hooked!

Narcos is a TV series about the life of Pablo Escobar, Columbia's most notorious drug lord. The story is narrated (voiceover) by DEA Agent Steve Murphy, one of the officials who took in Escobar's case while he was alive. What makes this interesting is how Escobar used this luxurious vice to help his people.

SnapchatI think I've finally gotten the hang of how Snapchat features work. I don't take snaps as often as during the weekend when Roan and I are out and about, but I'm happy to be gaining new following on there ( : gorjaeous). Most importantly, I love how I am able to catch a glimpse of other people's day-to-day lives, even for just 10 seconds or less.
