I'm well-aware that I'm not the first person to babble about the anticipation for the autumn or fall season as soon as the month of September kicked in. Some may have gotten over the summer too soon—ditching their bikinis, sheer dresses, and flat sandals at this point, yet we're still two weeks away from the actual autumnal equinox. As you might have guessed, I'm one of those people.
I began gearing up for the cooler months in mid-August, taking advantage of pre-season sales to shop for all things autumn/fall. Hailing from a tropical country with only the dry and wet periods year-round, shopping for the imminent season is proving to be an interesting experience. While we won't experience snow in this part of California, the temperature is expected to drop from the 80s to the 60s in the coming weeks. I remember arriving to a chilly weather in April, shortly after the spring season commenced, and I assume that the weather will be cooler this time of year.

I might start transitioning into fall in the coming weeks, depending on how the weather changes, but you can expect me to be in full-on fall outfit by the end of the month. These are some of my style inspirations for the season. I already own a couple of similar pieces from this board that will surely be on heavy rotation in my wardrobe this fall. Nothing too fancy; just the basics. I've been dreaming of dressing up in layers, so you can already tell how excited I am to wear all this stuff!
