We're twelve days into the new year, but I'm still a tad bit behind my schedule. Would you believe I caught a terrible bug as soon as 2015 kicked off? What a major buzz-kill! I lost five days of productivity on the first week of January nursing common colds, having a sneezefest with Mom who has allergic rhinitis.
Oh, did I mention that the cooler weather in Manila made matters worse?This Monday, I'm going to let you in on some of the mundane aspects of my daily life by linking up with Anne and Jenna. Do stick around because there will be a little something for you at the bottom of this post.
PLANNING. Almost two weeks since we got back in Manila, and I'm still planning on what and how many photos from our recent trip should go in this blog. I'm not even halfway through my selection process, guys.
HOPING. I was blessed to have a vivid memory of St. John Paul II (then Pope John Paul II) when he graced the World Youth Day in 1995. In fact, I saw him twice when he was here: first, at the University of Santo Tomas; and at the Papal Motorcade along the highway. My family and I are hoping to see Pope Francis when he visits Manila this week (from 15–19 January). He's going to hold a concelebrated mass at our Alma Mater on the 18th, and we'd really love to be part of such historical event!
BAKING. I'm so sorry to disappoint you, baking (or cooking) isn't on the radar this January...yet.
WEARING. My fuss-free sleepwear! I'm a pajama-kind-of-girl especially during the cold season, and I think I'm staying in these for the rest of the day!
RESOLVING. I had my husband tell me what his New Year's resolutions are for me, and I did likewise. I'm working on resolving my chronic mood swings not because my husband hates it, but because I love him. I think it's a fun way of doing resolutions or intentions; it might just be a yearly thing!
